What is individual therapy?
Individual therapy is based on establishing an empathic and collaborative relationship between the psychologist and the client. Intervention is focused on the person's behavior rather than the symptom, promoting change and learning new patterns.
Who is it for?
Individual therapy is intended for everyone who wishes to acquire self-knowledge and tools to deal with difficult situations, promoting their autonomy.
Indications for therapy:
Feelings of sadness and lack of energy
Stress and exhaustion
Difficulties in adapting to life changes (change of country, birth of a child, start of a new job, ...)
Difficulties in the grieving process
How does it works?
The number of sessions will depend on the questions brought by the client. After analyzing the expectations and establishing the therapeutic goals, the number of sessions to be held will be agreed. Throughout the process this number can be adjusted according to the client's progress and expectations.
The sessions have a 50 minutes duration.
